How we ran the glamping at Krankenhaus Festival and Stormin' the Castle this summer, from first booking to the last tent coming down.
A four-night music festival at a castle on the Cumbrian coast, and a two-night bike rally in County Durham. Same model at both: the organiser gave us a field, we did everything else.
Guests flew in from Canada and came by train with just a rucksack. Several have already asked to be held a tent for 2027.
For some riders it was the only way they could come this year. A bell tent with a proper bed opened the rally up to people who can't rough it any more.
